President Trump begins his second term with a wide array of challenges. Prominent among them are the war in Ukraine and economic statecraft. This discussion of the transition from the Biden to the Trump administration will feature two leading thinkers on foreign policy and economic statecraft, Will Ruger and Eddie Fishman. They will address questions of continuity and discontinuity; the role of economic sanctions in American foreign policy; and the overall priorities the Trump administration has toward Russia and Ukraine.
